Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs on Monday organized a training workshop for the officials, employees of procurement agencies and commission agents on Public Financial Management System (PFMS) portal to ensure payments through this online system, in the district administrative complex.The training was held in two sessions from 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm.GM Account Pungrain Mr Satish Singla, Deputy Director Mr Mangal Dass, District Food and Supplies Controller Mr Narinder Singh, officials and employees of various procurement agencies including Pungrain, Markfed, Punsup, Warehouse Corporation and commission agents from grain markets were present.During the meeting, they were detailed about Public Financial Management System from payment to commission agents by agencies and payment to the farmers by commission agents through the online portal.
