“Swachhta hi Seva” campaign, conducted by the district administration in Samba, today concluded at Government Degree College with felicitation of officers who performed outstanding services towards making the campaign a grand success.District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria while felicitating the officers, appreciated them for working relentlessly since the past one month to achieve the set targets under ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign.DDC exhorted upon continuing the efforts of keeping our surroundings clean and hygienic besides refraining from use of single use plastic to protect our environment for the posterity. He informed that various activities including pledge, special gram sabhas, awareness programmes, rallies under Shramdaan etc were held during the month long campaign.Later, DDC distributed mementos among the officers including Sukhleen Kour Chief Planning Officer, Rupinder Kour Block Development Officer, Ajay Sangra EO Municipality besides Principal Government Degree College and Sarpanchs.Additional District Development Commissioner, Rachana Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Gupta, Assistant Commissioner (Development), Sidhart Dhiman, District Panchayat Officer, Piyush Dhotra besides other district officers were present on the occasion.
