Financial Commissioner, Finance, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta today chaired the 6th Board of Directors’ (BoD) meeting of Jammu & Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance  Corporation Ltd (JKIDFC).Dr Mehta who is also Chairman & Managing Director of JKIDFC reviewed the working of corporation and obtained the status on action taken on the  decisions taken in the previous Board meetings.Commissioner Secretary PDD, Hirdesh Kumar; Commissioner Secretary PWD, Khurshid Ahmad Shah; Commissioner Secretary  PHE, I&FC, Ajeet Kumar Sahu; Secretary RDD, Sheetal Nanda; Special Secretary Finance, Dr Shamim and other concerned officials attended the meeting.During the meeting,  Board members also reviewed the progress of implementation of the Infrastructure projects that have been approved by the High Powered Committee of Finance Department and  are to be funded under the Special Scheme of the languishing projects by the JKIDFC.The Board gave its consent to development of Geo-Spatial software for the tracking and  monitoring of languishing projects through due and transparent process. It also directed that certain languishing projects be submitted to the High Powered Committee for  consideration under JKIDFC after being received from the respective departments.On the occasion, the board also discussed the budget for recurring expenditure for the  remaining part of financial years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.
