Jalandhar residents today witnessed glimpses of Guru Nanak Dev ji’s grandeur through a magnificent light and sound show held here at the ground of the Lyallpur Khalsa College to commemorate the 550th parkash purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.The MLA Chaudhary Surinder Singh, Divisional Commissioner Mr B Purusartha, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma, Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, President of Lyallpur Khalsa College Management Committee Mrs Balbir Kaur and Principal College Mr Gurpinder Singh Samra also had mesmerising experience with the audience during the 45-minute light and sound show, organized with colorful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics, in the ground from 7 pm to 7:45 pm and 8:30 pm to 9:15 pm. The mesmerized audience experienced an immersive Light and Sound show on the life and journey of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. The outdoor show unfolded into a multiple part story, immersed in a beautiful symphony of Colourful visual projections, Advanced lasers - all led by a creative soundtrack.The light and sound show beautifully projected Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's philosophy in the form of his universal message to our society. Through the show the ethos of tolerance, peace, communal harmony, women empowerment and protection of natural resources were brought alive. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's efforts to promote social equality were also aptly showcased to the audience in right letter and spirit.The show would be also held on October 17 (Thursday) at the same ground as a humble and befitting tribute to Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji by the state government. The entry for this mega event was totally free so that eternal message of humanity as preached by Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji along with life and philosophy of the great Guru ji was disseminated amongst the general masses.On the occasion family of the Deputy Commissioner including their wife, father and daughters were also present.
