SSC exams: Div Com directs arranging transport facility for candidates

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today directed all Deputy Commissioners of the division to arrange free to and fro transport facility through the SRTC to the Staff Selection Commission exam candidates.The SSC is going to conduct examination for the posts of Junior Engineers /MTS NT, SI in CAPFs and CHSL at Jammu/Samba/Leh from September 23 to 29, 2019 in which 7168 candidates are scheduled to appear.The Divisional Commissioner stressed that all the Deputy Commissioners and SRTC authorities shall facilitate the aspiring candidates from their respective district headquarters.All Deputy Commissioners were directed to nominate a Nodal Officer who shall coordinate the facilitation process at the district level and inform the SRTC officials about the number of buses required for the purpose.The Additional Commissioner Kashmir shall also coordinate the whole process at the divisional level, the meeting was told.Further, for downloading admit cards, candidates are informed to bring one photograph along with original DoB certificate. In case, the admit cards couldn’t be downloaded then the facility shall be provided by government at Jammu.Further, it was said that the lone candidate for the examination of SI in CAPFs Exam (Paper II) shall be send to Chandigarh and back by air free-of-cost.While as candidates for the CHSL examination shall be provided the transport facility by the concerned DCs up to Srinagar and thereby to Jammu on September 27, 2019.Transportation facility for all the candidates appearing in the SSC exams shall be arranged two days prior to their respective exams at Jammu.
