Punjab Vidhan Sabha speaker Rana KP Singh has called upon the countrymen to fight those trying to weaken our country so that there is communal harmony in India. He said this while attending the 477th Jayanti function of Maharana Pratap at Amar Palace, here today. On this occasion, a rally was also organised from Maharana Pratap Park to Jalandhar Byepass.While speaking on the occasion, Mr Rana KP Singh said that to weaken our country, several anti-India forces are using wrong means, and fellow countrymen should remain vigilant. He called upon the countrymen to fight such forces collectively so that peace, communal harmony and law and order is maintained in India.He said that those nations always prosper that never forget their great history. He said that the Punjab government is making several efforts for the betterment of Rajput community in the state. He informed that Maharana Pratap chair has been set up at Punjabi University Patiala and a statue of Maharana Pratap has been installed in Ropar. He said that a statue of Maharana Pratap has also been installed in Ludhiana as well and the park where it has been established, is now developed into a great park.He also assured the Rajput community that the Punjab government would continue to make efforts for their betterment. He also appreciated the social works done by Maharana Pratap Rajput Sabha.The function was also addressed by Cabinet Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu, MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu, MLAs Mr Surinder Dawar, Mr Sanjay Talwar, Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Mayor Mr Balkar Singh Sandhu, Mr Dimple Rana, Mr Sant Singh Rana, Mr Anil Thakur, besides several others.
