Two militants,One Among SPO turned militant affiliated with Lashker-e-Toiba, were killed in an Predawn encounter with government forces south Kashmir Shopian district on Sunday.Reports reaching to 5 dariya news , that a joint team of army’s 34RR and police’s SOG launched a cordon-and-search operation at Hend Sitapora village of the district following inputs about the presence of militants.As the joint team was conducting searches in the area, they came under fire from hiding militants, the fire was retaliated by Government forces triggering a Gunfight t in which two militants were Gun down.The killed militants were Reportedly as Basharat Ahmad of Nikloora Pulwama and Tariq Ahmad, who is SPO-turned-militant, of Khasipora Shopian who had decamped with his service rifle on 26 April last year from Police Post Pakherpora Budgam.where he was posted, they said.
