36 students of CGC Landran have been appreciated for their innovative ideas and software product development at the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2019. The 36-hour non-stop competition across the whole country was an implication of a tech-revolution in the country. Team ‘The M3N’ received 1st runner up trophy at JECRC University, Jaipur for their innovative development of a smart renting battery system which favours e-mobility of two-wheelers over conventional fuel scooter. The team of 6 students Hritik Gupta , Naman Goyal, Mohd Jafar ,Harvinder Kaur , Amreen Siddiqui and Mrityunjaya remained successful in solving the problem statement put forward by Hero Electric Vehicles and they have been offered jobs  at the company itself.Another team ‘NP Complete’ grabbed the 1st position at Odisha for devising a citizen feedback android application pertaining to road maintenance. “The Ministry of Road and transport has acknowledged our Prototype and we soon wish to see it on-roll” said Shivam, Team leader of the Project. Bit Binary Bomber team comprising students of computer science engineering won second runners up position along with 3 scholarship offers for their virtual fitness personal trainer invention at PIET Kurushetra, Haryana while Team Coddictor won the consolation prize under the theme of student innovation at center Veltech University, Chennai.Prizes worth 2.5 crore were awarded to the winners of Smart India Hackathon-2019 across India. Satnam Singh Sandhu , Chairman CGC and S.Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC congratulated the technical minds and appreciated the nation-wide initiative of Government  to foster problem-solving approach amongst students.
