Arrangements reviewed for Higher Secondary examinations

Additional Commissioner Jammu, Rahul Sharma, today reviewed arrangements for conduct of higher secondary examinations 2019 in Jammu Division during an officers meeting convened here.The meeting was attended by Chairperson BOSE, Prof Veena Pandita, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Rishpal Singh, Director School Education, Anuradha Gupta, Secretary BOSE, Riyaz Ahmed besides Deputy Commissioners and CEOs and Police officers of various districts of Jammu Division attended the meeting through video conferencing.The meeting discussed various issues to ensure fair and smooth conduct of higher secondary school examinations 2019 besides deliberating upon other necessary arrangements on this account.During the meeting, it was informed that the exams of 10th, 11th and 12th standard students of summer zone would start from 1st of March besides dates of postponed exams would be conveyed separately.The concerned authorities were asked to constitute vigilance squad for smooth conduct of higher secondary examinations in all districts of the division.The meeting was informed that section 144 would be imposed around examination centers for security reasons. Necessary directions were issued to the Chief Education Officers for constituting inspection teams, deployment of adequate staff  and monitoring of sensitive examination centres.

Police authorities were directed to ensure adequate deployment of police in and around the examination centers for smooth conduct of exams.Chairperson BOSE informed that the list of centers and students appearing in exams would be shared with each district administration of the division in order to make arrangements accordingly in their respective districts.
