While presiding over the meeting to review the preparedness of ‘Jan Aabhar Rally’ to be held at Dharamshala on 27 December on completion of one year in office of the present State Government, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be the chief guest, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that effective coordination must be ensured between the government functionaries and the organisations for making foolproof arrangements for the proposed rally.He said that effective arrangements should be made to ensure adequate supply of drinking water and packed food to the beneficiaries invited to attend the rally. He said that foolproof traffic plan should be prepared so that the general public does not face any inconvenience. The big LCD/LED screens would be installed at the rally ground and other strategic places for convenience of the people.

Jai Ram Thakur said that it must be ensured that the participants do not face any inconvenience while coming to the rally and also while going back to their respective destinations. The route for ambulances and other emergency vehicles must be kept clear. He said that toilets facilities should be provided at rally venue as well as parking places for convenience of the general public.Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar conducted the proceedings of the meeting and briefed about the preparedness regarding the proposed rally.Former Chief Minister and MP Shanta Kumar, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kishan Kapoor, Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary, Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar, Industries Minister Bikram Singh, MLAs Rakesh Pathania, Ravinder Dhiman, Arun Kumar, Mulk Raj Premi, former MP Kripal Parmar, Political Advisor to the CM Trilok Jamwal, OSD to the CM Shishu Dharma, Vice Chairman State Khadi Board Sanjiv Katwal, Additional Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kundu, SP Santosh Patiyal and other senior officers attended the meeting.
