As 2019 elections are around the corner, Chandigarh BJP unit has started it's campaign and party President Sanjay Tandon addressed the party workers in Maulijagran (Ward No.24), Village Darua Ward No. 29) and  Uttrakhand Cell in Sector-45, Chandigarh. The meeting in Maulijagran was attended by Chd State Bjp Vice President Bhimsein Aggarwal, District President Shakti Devshali, Mandal President Jagdish Choudhary, Colony Cell Convenor Mukesh Rai, Tenement Cell Convenor Deepak Sharma, Rajpal Dugar, Balwinder Singh, wherein briefed all the residents of the area about the different schemes and programmed launched by central govt, under the able leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh Narender Modi ji and the benefits of these schemes in detail. Asked everyone to download the Namo App on their phones so that they can get the latest updates about the work being done by Bjp government.

While addressing the second meeting in Darua village, made the public aware about various works done by the Modi govt such as electrification of more than 18000 villages, washrooms constructed in govt schools of all over the country, distribution of free LPG connections etc and also briefed about the schemes launched such as Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Ujwala Yojna, Swach Bharat Abhiyaan, and the latest scheme of Ayushmaan Bharat, in which the govt is giving medical insurance of Rs 5 Lakh per annum, free of cost to the BPL families, and due to this scheme around 23000 families in Chandigarh will be benefited. Present during the programme were District President Hukam Chand, Councillors Shakti Devshali, Jagtar Singh Jagga and Bharat Kumar, Senior party member Desraj Tandon ji, Shangara Singh, Mandal President Chaman Lal, Baljit Sidhu, Harish Sharma, Naresh Panchal, Uday Singh Rana and Dharmender Singh. 

During the end of the day inaugurated the new office of Chandigarh Bjp Uttrakhand Cell in Sector 45 and addressed the members in the progeamme organised by Cell Convenor Bhupinder Sharma in the presence of Councillors Heera Negi, Shakti Devshali, Bharat Kumar and Kanwar Rana, District President Devi Singh, Girdhari Lal Jindal, Ramesh Sharma, Harish Sharma and other cell members. Discussed the working of the cell and distributed pamphlet containing the achievements and different beneficiary schemes launched by Modi government in the last 4 years. At the same time besides this the day of Mr Tandon was filled with other activities such as distributing awards to winners of Karate Championship 2018, held in goverment college, Sector 46 as well as presiding over the Annual Function of Anchal International School, where he explained to the parents the Indian Way of Teaching.
