The youth wing of Aam Aadmi Party on Friday criticized Capt. Amarinder Singh led Congress govt. for cheating the youth of state in the name of providing jobs.Addressing the media at Chandigarh, AAP youth wing incharge MLA Meet Hayer, president Manjinder Singh Sidhu, Malwa zone-3 president Adv. Kuljinder Dhindsa, Doaba zone president Roby Kang, Sangrur dist. president Narinder Kaur Bharaj and other leaders said that congress party in its election manifesto made many promises to the people of Punjab but non of it was fulfilled after formation of the govt. in state.Meet Hayer said that during elections under the campain 'Har Ghar Rozgaar' congress party painted the walls of every village and city with the promise to provide jobs to youth but just the memebers of political families have got jobs in last 2 years. He said that only ministers and coterie of Capt. are getting benefits in new govt. while whole Punjab is waiting for the promises to be fulfilled.Hayer criticised the Punjab cabinet ministers for their statements of giving weird ideas of employemnts to the youth of state.

He said that the statement of Minister Tript Rajinder Bajwa that the they cant give govt. jobs of deputy commissioner level to every youth is nothing but an attemp to run away from promises. He also criticized minister Razia Sultana and Balbir Sidhu for their silly ideas given to youth about collecting scrap and selling groundnuts.Manjinder Sidhu asked govt. to create jobs on their own rather than terming the placement programmes of private institutions as the employment generating effort of Punjab govt so that the youth of Punjab must not think about going abroad. He said that the govt. is making mockery of unemployed youth in the name of job fairs being organized by govt. as options of labour work that too of lower level than their qualifications is suggested at it. Showing a news carrying name of firms that approached for recruitment at job fair, Sidhu said that it shows that govt. is just concerned about the statistics to show in govt. record and have no intention to provide jobs in real sense.Sidhu said that AAP youth wing will gherao the residence of Capt. Amarinder Singh at Patiala on December 13 under 'Captain Sarkar, Deo Rozgaar' programme to remind him about the fake programmes made with the youth of state.
