Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal participated in a meeting held as per the orders of H.P High Court regarding early completion of Pinjore-Nalagarh national highway at New Delhi today.The meeting was held between Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh and Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Chief Secretary of Haryana and Chairman, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).B.K Agarwal apprised that the work has been stopped due to certain objections made by the ministry regarding land acquisition. However, he urged for starting the construction work soon as it is the lifeline for industrial area which is a big pharma hub and 37 percent production of the country is taking place. There is a huge traffic on the road which necessitates undertaking the construction work at a fast pace, he added.
