Expressing his happiness over the good performance of girls in the field of education, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that by educating girls, society could proceed on the path of progress.The Governor was speaking on the occasion of School Annual Day function -"Spandanam" of Chaman Vatika Gurukul at Ambala in Haryana.Acharya Devvrat said that girls were setting examples by performing their best in every field of life. He added that this gurukul for girls started with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' has achieved many milestones in the short span of four years of its establishment. Besides education, girls were also performing excellent in sports, and they were getting education based on moral values. He said that to run educational institutions was not a business but it was a mission for the future development of children so that a good society could be created. He expressed confidence that this institution would emerge as an excellent institution of education.Earlier, Agriculture Minister O.P. Dhankar, also spoke on the occasion.Director, Microtech Saurabh Gupta while presiding over the function stressed on the value based education.Secretary of the school management committee A.D. Gandhi welcomed the Governor.Girls student also performed cultural programme on the occasion.Principal of Chaman Vatika 'Gurukul' Sonali Sharma read out the annual report of the school.
