Health Minister Vipin Parmar called on Union Minister of State for Ayush Shripad Yasso Naik at New Delhi on Wednesday evening.He urged the Union Minister to sanction an Ayurveda institution on the pattern of AIIMS for Himachal Pradesh. He said that there was great scope for Ayurveda in the state and the state government intends to strengthen this system which had roots in our ancient scriptures and was very effective for curing diseases. He requested for ample support from the Centre for strengthening Ayurvedic institutions in state especially Panchkarma technique. The Minister also requested for opening three pharmacies in the state for equipping with medicines so that patients could be benefitted.The Union Minister assured of all possible assistance to Himachal Pradesh for strengthening Ayurveda system of medicine.
