Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri is organized its Annual Techno-cultural Fest.As many as 8,000 students from several institutes of tricity participated in this function. Cabinet Minister Balbir SinghSidhu was Chief Guest at the moment.The fest was full of lively cultural, Technical & Non-Technical events.Cultural events including Alaap-solo singing, surkshetra, Punjabi virsa dances, Mimicry,  etc. were performed by the students where as  other events like Quiz competition, Maze runner, Polo climbing robot, Techno-skic, Poster presentation, Autocad, Programming League, Project Demonstration, Computer quiz, Tech Hunt, Gaming Zone, Logo Addiction, Bridge the Gap etc .were technical events . Non-technical events at the moment consisted of Colour your Thoughts, Mishmash, Toon Draw, Splash, New Look, Mehandi, Nail Art, Mega Tower, Rise the Tower etc , which were center attraction of the show .Chief Guest  Balbir Singh Sidhu while encouraging the students said that such fests help in developing the overall personality of students and generate a spirit of healthy competition among the participants who come from various colleges of different states.He also release 27 crore to widen the landran  roadRashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC & Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu   said that the main aim of the festival was to promote breakthroughs in science and technology, scientific thinking and innovation among the youngsters.
