Campaigning in favor of Member Parliament and congress candidate from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu, MLA Gurkeerat Singh Kotli has gone door to door in ward number 67 and 70 and met the people. Everyone in the ward support Mr. Bittu and assuring that they will cast their votes in favor of Mr. Bittu to make him win.Mr. Kotli has held meetings with the people. Mr. Rajinder Chopra and Youth leaders Rinku have arranged meetings in ward number 67 while Amritpal kalsi and Lali have arranged meetings in ward number 70. Senior congress leaders K.K. Bawa, block president Vinod Bathla, Yadwinder Raju, Gurbhej Chhabra, Pawan Garg and Ramesh Saggu also accompanied Mr. Kotli.
Addressing the meetings Mr. kotli said the Ludhiana residents have been excited as Mr. Ravneet Bittu has been contesting election from the city. Mr. Bittu has always followed the morals set by his grandfather late Chief Minister Beant Singh and he has always opposed the malpractices. Mr. Kotli has he is assure that Mr. Bittu will work for development of Ludhiana after winning the election.Kotli slammed SAD-BJP alliance and said the people are very annoyed with the anti people policies of SAD-BJP leaders. The state Government has proved failed at every front including the development of the state. Some of the projects that have been running in the Ludhiana including City Bus Service, Passport Service Centre, 108 Ambulance Service, making of roads under Prime Minister gram sadak Yojna and Indira Avas Yojna. He said the people are annoyed with dictatorship and opportunism of SAD-BJP leaders and they wanted to send Mr. Bittu to parliament.Mr. Bawa said only congress can bring development to the country. He said late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi had given right to vote to 18 years old citizens. He is the leader that had brought Panchayti Raj and now the UPA has brought MGNREGA, right to information and Right to Education.
