Congress workers have raised their arms against Sanjay Baru, former media advisor of the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh over the remarks over the indecent comments that he has made in his book The Accidental against the Prime Minister and Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The congress workers have burned the internet version of book and posters of Baru. The congress workers alleged that Baru has been trying to defame honest Dr. Manmohan Singh for cheap publicity following the directions of anti congress parties.The Congress workers have burnt the book and posters of the Baru outside the Election Office of Congress Candidate Ravneet Bittu in Ludhiana on Monday evening.

Former district congress president KK Bawa, Senior Congress Amarjeet Singh Tikka, Ramesh Joshi, Sushil Molahotra, Usha Malhora led the protest against Baru and expressed their anger against baru by burning his posters and book. The leaders said the congress party would not tolerate Baru’s caper of trying to malign the image of the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh that has played his part with honesty and gracefully for the development of the country.The leaders said the Prime Minster has worked for overall development of the country. From Nuclear deal with USA to MGNREGA, Right to Information, Right to Education, Land acquisition law for farmers, Right to Food, Providing health services at Village level under National Rural Mission and many other rights are efforts of Dr. Manmohan Singh. No one can even think about making such comments against him.The leaders said that as the book has been released during parliamentary elections, it is political conspiracy to malign the image of the Prime Minister. Political rivals have dropped their level to such extent that they have been using such conspiracies against honest Prime Minister. They said the Prime Minister vowed to serve the country and each citizen while taking the reign. Dr. Manmohan Singh has worked for development of country without and discrimination.The congress workers have also slammed the political rivals that made comments on Dr. Manmohan Singh, on the basis of the book. They said one should think wisely before blaming Dr. Manmohan Singh.
