The Sonamarg-Drass stretch of 434-km on strategic Srinagar-Leh highway continued to remain shut on fourth consecutive day on Monday.The highway was closed on Thursday following heavy snowfall at Zojilla and Drass, said an official.He said men and machinery were pressed into service to clear the snow from the highway. However, the road continues to remain blocked.Official said that the snow has been cleared from Sonamarag till Panee-Matha and from the Drass side; the highway has been cleared up to Khooni-nallah. “There are no chances of re-opening of the highway today,” he said.
