Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that Congress party would repeat the history of 2004 & 2009 Lok Sabha Elections by winning all the ten seats in the state.Hooda was talking to media persons at Jind on Friday.Mr Hooda said that there is only Congress factor in Haryana and there was no Modi or BJP factor in play, what to talk of any Modi wave. He said that BJP has been exposed in the ticket distribution. The party, which does not believe in its workers and could not field even eight candidates of its own, how can people of the state would have faith in that party, he said while referring to BJP.
Hooda said that no opposition party was in direct fight with Congress party. On some seats BJP and on some other seats INLD was fighting to secure second place in the elections. With the blessings of the people, the Congress would repeat the history of Lok Sabha elections of 2004 & 2009, he further added. He said that when the elections were announced, some people were saying that Congress would only win one or two seats out of ten; the same people are now saying that Congress is winning 6-7 seats. I can say with confidence that Congress would win all the ten seats on April 10, he further added.Hooda said that though the Congress lost all five seats of Jind in previous Vidhan Sabha elections, but Congress has given due importance to the development of Jind because he has high affection for the people of the area. Enthused by the huge response received by the one day long Vijay Rath Yatra in district Jind, Mr Hooda said that Congress would win all the five Vidhan Sabha seats in next Vidhan Sabha elections after the Lok Sabha polls.Giving factual data about the public money incurred by his government with the previous INLD Government, he said that Chautala Government had spent only Rs 950 Crore in his six years, while the present Congress Government has already incurred more than Rs 6500 Crore on the development of the district Jind. He reminded that Jind, Bhiwani, Mahendergarh and Karnal were included in the National Capital Region during the Congress Government rule only. Congress Government has brought new University, new College, Railway Over Bridge and Jind-Gohana-Sonipat Rail line is being set up, he added. He categorically said that all announcements made by him would be got completed.
Replying to a query, Mr Hooda said that Congress is a party of all 36Biradaries and it has taken care of all the sections, so it is getting support from all the sections of the society.In a reply on query on ‘Aam Aadmi Party(AAP)’, Mr Hooda said that AAP is a party of dual character. In Gaziabad, AAP says that on being elected they would develop Gaziabad on pattern of Gurgaon(Haryana) but in Gurgaon, they say that no development has taken place in Gurgaon, he added.To another query, Mr Hooda said that all the Congressmen are united and are campaigning in different areas of the state. All the leaders cannot be expected to go all places at the same time but MP Mr Birender Singh was with him in Hisar and Sirsa. I am campaigning in all the ten seats of the state and there is huge enthusiasm and fervour among all the Congress workers and leaders, he added.
