A meeting of Committee on Petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar to discuss the pending petitions.Threadbare discussions were held on the Petition submitted by Twinkle Mohan W/o Sachin Fegotra resident of F-78-A Mahajan Industries, Talab Tillo Jammu against the alleged hostile, cruel and illegal conduct of the Jammu and Kashmir Co-Operative Housing Corporation Limited Jammu.Legislators, Yawar Ahmed Mir, Noor Mohammad Sheikh and Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh attended the meeting and gave their views and consent for early disposal of the pending petitions of the Committee.Additional Secretary, Cooperative Department, Surjeet Singh and DGM, Housing Corporation, Manish Khajuria briefed the Committee regarding the ‘factual position and present status of petition.’Among others present in the meeting were Additional Secretary Assembly, Naseem Jan, Under Secretary Assembly, Shabir Ahmed and other senior officers and officials of Assembly Secretariat.
