Three persons were killed and one critically injured in two separate road accidents in Kupwara and Baramulla districts of north Kashmir on Wednesday.Two people were killed while another was injured in a tragic road accident in district Kupwara on Wednesday morning.A Police official said that an Alto 800 car, bearing registration number JKO9A 4737, while on way from Kupwara to frontier Tehsil Tangdar, met an accident at Stage 2 near Border Security Force (BSF) camp, resulting in death of two persons on the spot.

The injured has been identified as Syed Faisal son of Zameer Shah of Kandi Karnah area. He has been referred to JVC Hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment.The deceased have been identified as Syed Khadam Hussain son of  Ghulam Sarvar Shah and Syed Iftakhar Hussain son of  Syed Fazal Hussain Shah.Both the deceased are residents of Chamkot, Karnah area of district Kupwara.In another accident, a 70-year-old man was crushed to death by a speeding bus on Sopore-bandipora highway at Botingoo. He was identified as Ghulam Muhammad Dobi, resident of Botingoo Sopore.The bus driver fled from the spot after the accident. Police have registered cases into both the accidents, said an official.
