Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari today conducted an extensive tour of Pattan constituency to inspect the pace of various developmental works.The Minister was accompanied by SDM Pattan, Tehsildars of Singhpora and Pattan, Executive Engineers of P.H.E, PDD, R&B and other concerned officers.The Minister visited Khaargama, Tilgam, Wanigama Payeen, Wanigama Baala, Dargam and Chanderseer areas to review the progress of work on different ongoing developmental works and directed concerned authorities to bring swiftness in their work.While inspecting the macadamization work, Ansari was informed that the work is in full swing and is nearing its completion. He directed engineers to ensure the quality of work is not compromised with and to expedite the macadamization work of the entire main and link roads of the Constituency within the stipulated time.Additionally, the Minister also directed P.H.E Department to ensure adequate water supply in the area and repairment of water pipes within shortest time. He also issued directions to the PDD Department for repairment of poles and damaged electric lines in the area.

During the visit, he interacted with several deputations and received first-hand appraisal of their issues and demands. He patiently listened to the grievances of people and assured that their genuine issues would be considered and redressed in a time bound manner.Responding to the public demands, Ansari instructed the authorities to make estimation of various projected developmental works.Later, the Minister also paid a surprise visit to the Pattan market to check the cleanliness and status of other developmental works. He was briefed that measures have been initiated to ensure proper cleanliness of the market and ensuring hygienic atmosphere.During the inspection, local deputation briefed the Minister about condition of by lanes and drainage system. The Minister said that it is our moral and religious responsibility to ensure cleanliness and issued on spot directions to officials for road widening, surface drain clearance and routine cleaning of drains, roads and lanes. Besides, the Minister directed officials for cementing, tiling of the pedestrian paths.
