The Minister for Forest, Choudhary Lal Singh today visited various forest plantation sites in and around Leh town.The Minister yesterday visited border area of Nubra-Turtuk and interacted with the people and gave a patient hearing to their demands and grievances. He assured the people there that all their genuine issues would be addressed in the shortest possible time.He appealed people to go for maximum plantation in their area assuring every possible support from Forest department.The Minister also inspected Forest check posts located on Turtuk –Nubra route.He was accompanied by Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Ravi Kaser, Managing Director SFC Suresh Gupta, Director B.M Sharma and senior officers of Forest Department.
