Rajouri adm takes lead in PSGA camps

Taking lead in organization of camps under Public Service Guarantee Act, the district administration has successfully conducted 24 camps in different sub-divisions of the district in past one month. A record number of 6003 health and 6874 revenue services were provided at the doorsteps of the people.Deputy Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary informed that these camps witnessed a huge participation where mass awareness was given about various flagship programmes and centrally sponsored schemes by the concerned departments.He further said, “Thousands of families have been benefitted under this outreach programme also saving time and money as certificates are being provided at village level instead of offices involving a long process”, adding the revenue and health officers along with field staff have done a commendable job for service delivery.Taking forward its commitment to ensure the services are provided at village-level, the district administration has already notified a detailed schedule for camps to be held in the month of August. About 24 revenue camps would be held at HS Prat on August 10, PHC Thandikassi on August 11, Panchayat Ghar Ranthal on August 16, Khawas Tehsil HQ, Lah, HS Thanger and MS Rani-Badetar onAugust 17, Panchayat Ghar Ghambir Brahmana on August 18, P.G. Mathyani onAugust 19, P.G. Dalhori & Saaj on August 22, HS Bamliya on August 23 and at TRC Kotali, Shahdara Sharief, HS Bathera and Panchayat Ghar Rajal on 25th of August 2017.Pertinently, during the ongoing month, camps have been convened each at Panchayat Ghar Nonial and Chammitrar by SDM Nowshera Harbans Lal Sharma and SDM Koteranka Gopal Singh in which 582 revenue services were provided. In addition to Revenue Camps, the district administration has also issued a calendar for 24 camps to be conducted by Health department.
