Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. M.K Bhandari today reviewed the progress under AMRUT Mission at high level meeting held here today.The Divisional Commissioner assessed the status of various projects undertaken by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) under AMRUT Mission. He asked the concerned officials to work in synergy with other agencies for accelerating the pace of progress.He also directed the senior functionaries of concerned departments to personally monitor and review the progress of the ongoing projects. He directed the officials for proper utilization of resources while ensuring time bound completion of the projects.He directed the Deputy Commissioner to act as a mediator between all the concerned agencies to evolve close coordination among them. Stressing on timeline completion of projects, he directed the concerned authorities to submit a comprehensive progress report to his office regularly.Dr. Bhandari asked the authorities to anticipate the obstacles and be prepared in advance.It was informed that Rs 206.15 Crore funds have been allocated for Jammu City under AMRUT Mission covering the sectors like Urban Transport, Green Spaces, Drainage and Sewerage.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan , Commissioner , JMC , M.Raju , Director, ULB, Sushma Chauhan, Vice Chairman, JDA, Rajesh Kumar Shavan , SSP Jammu, Dr. Sunil Gupta, SSP Traffic, Nisha Nathyal besides other senior functionaries of various departments.
