Locals from Trehgam staged a protest outside the DC office Kupwara against the highhandedness of the R&B.Locals complained that, Trehgam - Makkam- ladarwan Road project has been shifted towards Manzar area of Trehgam from alderman area said the protesters. One of the protester said that the shift is done to favour the PDD Employees of manzaar, Trehgam, We are neglected a d left to strive yet again said a protester.We have been waiting to the road from past more than 30 years and we always strived to get a road from our side and some how now government has sanctioned it but now they are shifting it to manzaar area. Our childrens cover a long distance to reach their respective schools and hospitals and we go through the worst. So we request the authorities to look into it and take some immediate action agonist the highhandedness of the concerned department. As the protesters had staged a protest and raised anti Exon R&B Kupwara slogans, At the mean while SP Kupwara shamsheer rushed to the place and assured the protesters that the authorities will look into the matter seriously and will discuss regarding the same matter with the concerned department who is working on this project.
