Er. Rasheed said: “the resolution of Kashmir dispute is not only required to fulfil the sentiments of Kashmiris but huge majority in Jammu and Ladakh province also want resolution of the dispute, as the people of Jammu region have offered huge sacrifices since 1947 for the same. It is BJP, congress and other main stream parties who are trying to give the Kashmir issue a communal color.”Er. Rasheed accused New Delhi of encouraging the elements who on and off drag those constitutional provisions to the Supreme Court, which guarantee some special status to the state. He said “the way Article 35-A is being dragged and questioned by the Supreme Court and the response being shown by the Central Government is a matter of great concern for the people of entire state. People from all the three regions need to understand the significance of Article 35-A and other such Articles”.Er. Rasheed thanked people of Chenab Valley for always raising their voice with the people of Kashmir. He assured the people of Chenab Valley that Kashmiris will always continue to respect the sentiments, sacrifices and aspirations of people of Jammu Province, which are often being down played by New Delhi.
