Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) and Information Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today visited Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu to enquire about the condition of Amarnathji yatries who were injured in today’s tragic bus accident, near Nachinala in Ramban district.Vice Chairman, State Advisory Board for the Welfare, Development of Scheduled Castes, Bhushan Lal Dogra, MLC Romesh Arora, Divisional Commissioner Jammu MK Bhandari, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Kumar Rajeev Ranjan besides other senior officers of police and district administration accompanied the Minister during his visit to the hospital.The Minister visited emergency wards of the hospital, interacted with the injured and assessed the Medicare being provided to them. He wished the injured early recovery.Zulfkar asked the doctors to ensure that the accident victims get all requisite diagnostic and treatment facilities in a hassle free and comfortable manner. He further directed hospital authorities to provide free of cost medical facilities to the injured yatris. He was also briefed by a team of doctors about the treatment being provided to the injured undergoing treatment.The Minister assured all possible support and financial assistance to the injured from the State Government. Meanwhile, the Minister conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families of those who died in the mishap. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
