Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries (ASH&F), Abdul Gani Kohli, Sunday visited Bota Pathri, Tangmarg and Gulmarg areas of Baramulla and took stock of activities of the Fisheries, Animal and Sheep Husbandry departments in the areas here.At Tangmarg, Kohli instructed the Fisheries authorities to reconstruct the Fisheries Hut gutted in fire on modern lines keeping in mind the area’s appeal to the visiting tourists.While inspecting the recreation pond at Gulmarg, the Minister asked the concerned to renovate the existing Rainbow Fish Sale Point here on modern lines.During his visit to Bota Pathri, Kohli asked the Animal and Sheep Husbandry departments to ensure conducting of proper vaccination of livestock in the area.On the occasion, several deputations of nomads and other members of locals met the Minister and apprised him of issues faced by them. Instructing the concerned officers to take note of the concerns raised, the Minister assured the locals that their genuine demands would be looked into.Senior Officers of concerned departments accompanied the Minister during his visit.
