The Shiromani Akali Dal and Bhartiya Janta Party combine MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa today said that by supporting Congress candidate Meera Kumar for Presidential election AAP Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has once again proved that ‘AAP’ is ‘B’ team of the Congress party.In a statement here, Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that people were of the view from day one that Kejriwal is creation of the Congress party and AAP is ‘B’ team of it and this is second time when it has been proved. He said during its first tenure Mr. Kejriwal had formed the government in coalition with the Congress party and now it has decided to support Meera Kumar who is Congress nominee for the post of President election. He said that this is clear betrayal of mandate of people of Delhi by Mr. Kejriwal and his coterie. He said that Kejriwal and his team mislead the people of Delhi on the pretext that they are opposed to the corruption of the Congress and will punish Congress leader for the corruption whose 300 page chargesheet is with it. He said that after assuming power instead of acting against the leaders of the Congress party Mr. Kejriwal and his team is now supporting the Congress to consolidate its position politically.
Mr. Sirsa also urged senior Advocate and party MLA Mr. HS Phoolka to resign from the party and as an MLA instead of supporting a Congress candidate Meera Kumar as he was locked in a bitter fight against the Congress leaders in 1984 sikh massacre cases. He said that it will be most embarrassing for him to vote for the Congress party and that too when it was his first time to vote in the Presidential election. He also said that if he (Mr. Sirsa) was ever asked to vote for Congress party, he will prefer to sacrifice every post instead of voting for the Congress party which was responsible for massacre of thousands of sikh on the streets of Delhi and other cities. He said that if Mr. Phoolka stands ups for values in his political life, he will get appreciation worldwide but if he preferred to vote for the Congress party as per dictates of Mr. Kejriwal then even the victims and families of the 1984 sikh massacre whose cases he was fighting will feel ashamed of him. He said it was high time for him to prove himself as upholder of true values in life.
