Governor Acharya Devvrat has underlined the need to uphold our rich traditions and make people aware about our rich traditional values and cultural heritage.The Governor was speaking on the occasion of 60th Foundation Day function of Ror Mahasabha, Panipat in Haryana today.He said that our country preaches the knowledge of vedas and upnishada and according to vedas, that person was human in a real sense who feels the pain, suffering of others and involve himself in the welfare of poor and down trodden. He said that to feel the emotions of others was the real services towards the society. He added that such emotions were missing in the society today and lacking high cultural values. Although, real Indian philosophy was to serve for the suffering humanity, he added.He said that India had always remained a great nation due to rich civilization and culture and we spread the message of love, brotherhood, honesty and tolerance. He added that our country had remained integrally strong due to cultural spirituality and this could be carried forward to the coming generations only if we stop imitating the western culture. Acharya Devvrat said that the future of the country rested on the shoulders of youth who should associate themselves with mainstream activities, come forward to work for betterment of society, eradicating social evils and help the under-privileged and needy persons.
