ADDC Anantnag reviews progress under TSP

Additional District Development Commissioner Anantnag today chaired a meeting here to review the progress made under Tribal Sub Plan.The meeting was attended by CEOs of Verinag, Kokernag Pahalgam, SE R&B, SDM Dooru, Exen PHE Qazigund, CMO Anantnag, Chief Animal Husbandry Officers, officials of Education, representatives from Handicrafts and Handlooms and other concerned.The ADDC reviewed the progress made under TSP in village Gojjar Bakerwal Check Manzmoh and pace of work on Eklaviya Model School Haptnard.The meeting was informed that under the Tribal Sub Plan the work on Rs 12 crore Eklaviya Model School, Hapatnad is apace. The main building of the school has been completed at an expenditure of Rs. 4.43 crore and will be inaugurated after July15, 2017. The construction work on Boys and Girls Hostel is under progress while as fencing work stands completed.Threadbare discussions were held on tapping of SR head at Checki Wangund and laying of 10 pipes at Nussu Baderagund so that potable drinking water can be supplied to the inhabitants. 

The ADDC directed SDM, Dooru, Exen PHE, Qazigund and railway Engineer for on spot inspection of the site to clear the bottlenecks.Under new TSP plan for 2017-18, the Education Department presented a proposal of 52 schools for construction of additional class rooms, computer labs, smart classrooms, toilets and other repairs and renovation work in 4 assembly segments of the district.The Animal Husbandry Officer informed that 59 units of dairy farming have been proposed at an estimated cost of Rs. 30 lakh in all the 6 assembly segments of the district, besides 4 milk villages have been identified for commercializing this sector on cooperative basis.Under skill development in tribal areas, the CMO was directed to start the process of imparting necessary skills to 60 candidates for training in FMPHW, MMPHW and lab assistants. In addition, two PHCs at Aru and Frislan have been proposed at a proposed cost of Rs 5 lakh each.
