Joint resistance leadership of said Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik said the menace of CASO (cordon and search operations) launched by the Indian state forces against the people of Kashmir and continued even in the holy month of Ramadan ,resulting in the killing of scores of young boys and injuring of hundreds so far, at the hands of Indian forces, reflect the level of hostility by the Indian state towards the people of Kashmir, especially the youth and students who are being punished in every way for seeking their right to decide their destiny as guaranteed by the UN resolutions and the Indian leadership. In a statement issued to KNS, Joint leadership said as a result of this infamous operation another cold blooded murder of a budding 19 year old student from Shopian degree college Adil Ahmed Magray of Ganapora Shopian was committed by the Indian forces who have not only been given a free hand to kill Kashmiris, but are even encouraged and awarded for their varying "acts of valor" in keeping Kashmiris subjugated.Leadership said that such inhumanity and brutishness of the Indian state agencies has ceased to shock Kashmiris anymore they expect no better of them. The joint leadership said that the grief and pain experienced by the people of Kashmir and the leadership at the killing of our dear and budding young boys like Adil fail to find expression in words as they are mercilessly and with impunity killed by the Indian state.

What is worse is that after committing such crimes the shameless and soulless local quislings back them up by distorting facts and spreading lies through their agencies and blocking facts and information about the incident from reaching people and the outside world by immediately banning internet services and putting other forms of gags in place.Joint resistance leadership said that to express people's resentment and indignation against the brutal killing of young Adil Ahmed Magray by the Indian forces and to express complete solidarity with the bereaved family complete strike will be observed on Friday the 9th of June across the valley and after Friday prayers peaceful protest will be held across the valley against the killing. People from all over south Kashmir will move towards Shopian to the residence of Shaheed Adil to express solidarity with the bereaved family.Peaceful Protests will also be held against the Indian electronic medias propagandas war against the people of Kashmir and the prejudices and biases against Kashmiris being promoted by them. The recent illegal NIA raids conducted on pro freedom activists and traders to intimidate and defame leadership and the freedom movement and to damage the state economy will also denounced and protested by people.Joint resistance leadership also condemned the use of force by the Indian forces against students protesting the killing of their fellow student Adil Ahmed in various parts of the valley especially in IUST Awantipora saying they cannot stop the youth from raising its voice against repression and for their political aspirations.
