Deputations of industrialists, employees, youth meet Chief Minister

A large number of people from different walks of life met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today. Deputations of industrialists, employees and youth also met the Chief Minister and sought redressal of their issues.A deputation of industrial entrepreneurs thanked the Chief Minister for the new Industrial Policy rolled out by the Government. They demanded marketing support to the products manufactured by local unit holders. They also demanded equipping the District Industries Centres with all human and material resource besides revival package for SFC and regulating supply of power to industrial unit holders.A deputation of people from Achabal demanded augmentation of civic facilities and construction of a marriage hall in the town. Another deputation from Bijbehara sought macadamization of roads of the town besides early completion of the trauma hospital there.

A deputation of youth from Ganderbal demanded active engagement of youth in the developmental process of the State. Deputations of ReT teachers and adhoc employees of Technical Education demanded early regularization of their services.A deputation of cross LoC traders demanded removal of bottlenecks in the smooth operation of the trading activity at TFC, Salamabad.A deputation from Ashajipora, Anantnag demanded release of balance portion of flood relief in their favour.Deputations of people from various areas of Anantnag, Shopian, Budgam and Kulgam also met the Chief Minister and apprised her of their day to day problems and issues.The Chief Minister listened to the demands and difficulties projected to her and assured the deputations that their demands would be appropriately addressed.
