Students also cornered the office of the Principal of the College accusing him of inviting Government Forces on daily basis in the college. The clashes spread to other parts of the town creating chaos and confusion while majority of the shopkeepers downed their shutters while vehicular movement was disrupted for hours.SSP Pulwama Mr Rayees Ahmed Bhat told CNS that as usual police naka party was present outside the college. “When college went off, a large number of students appeared on the road and suddenly resorted to stone-pelting. They attacked Naka party. The clashes extended to some other parts of the town,” he said.At Muran Chowk, large number of protesters also attacked Government Forces.
