Secretary Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Kiffayat Hussain Rizvi convened a meeting to review the functioning of the department here today. He took a comprehensive review of the progress on geo-tagging, adhaar seeding, job card verification and MIS.Expressing satisfaction over the implementation of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes for creating durable assets for the benefit of the rural masses, Mr Rizvi impressed upon the officers to optimally achieve the set targets during the current financial year. He also stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.Earlier Director Rural Development, Jammu Ravinder Kumar Bhat aprised the chair about the achievements made under various schemes of the department during the year 2016-17.Director, Rural Sanitation, CEO IWMP, Superintending Engineer REW, Additional Secretaries RD&PR, Assistant Commissioners Development, District Panchayat Officers, Project Officers DRDA/IWMP and Executive Engineers REW of Jammu Division, Besides were present in the meeting.
