The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission today issued strict instructions to the Welfare Department of the State to furnish within 15 days, the report on the complaints of fake certificates received by the department.Disclosing this here today, the Chairman of the Commission, Rajesh Bagha said that the Commission conducted a meeting with the various departmental heads and considered the multiple issues of SC community.Divulging further, Mr. Bagha said that the police department has been directed as per the amendment in the Atrocities Act, to display boards at public places, police stations & government offices, depicting information about the commission in order to ensure easy reach of SC community to the commission, in case of need.During the meeting, rich tributes were paid to Mr. Rajinder Singh Guddu and to Former Agriculture Minister Mr. Gurdev Singh Badal who left for the heavenly abode.On the occasion Mr. Iqbalpreet Singh Sahota ADGP (Crime), Ms. Vinni Bhullar Joint Director, Local Government, Mr. Malwinder Singh Jaggi, Director, Welfare Department, Mr. Raj Singh, Senior Vice Chairman of Punjab SC Commission, Mr. Raj Bahadur Singh, Director SC/BC Sub plan, Ms. Bharti Canady, Mr. Babu Singh Panjawa, Mr. Gian Chand Diwali, Mr. Prabh Dyal Rampur, Mr. Raj Kumar Hans, Mr. Tarsem Singh Sialka and Mr. Darshan Singh (All Non-Official Members) were also present.
