The main objective of State Govt. working under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amrinder singh, is to ensure smooth mining work of crushers and sand mines as per rules so that, general public could not face any problem and could avail the construction material like sand & stone crusher at affordable prescribed rates. These was stated by Deputy Commissioner Smt. Gurpreet Kaur Sapra while addressing a meeting with various stone crusher owners and sand mine contractors at meeting hall of district administrative complex. During this SSP Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sh. Charndv Singh Maan, Assistant Commissioner (G) Sr. Jasbir singh, district Mining Officer Sh. Chaman Lal and Mining Officer Head Office and other officials were present.During this, Deputy Commissioner directed the crusher owners and mining contractors to ensure their work as per rules and conditions mentioned in their licence. Seeking cooperation in this regard, she said that mining work as per rules and regulations will help them as well as to the general public. She said that surprise checking of mining work by district administration will be continued. For this Additional Deputy Commissioner Sh. Charandev Singh Maan has been deputed as Nodal Officer. SSP Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal assured the crusher owners and mining contractors that they will get full cooperation from district administration, provided that mining work is being carried out as per rules, regulations and conditions mentioned in the licence.
