Jammu and Kashmir Against Corruption organised grand seminar on the Drug de-addiction in Srinagar on sunday.Many renowned personalities including SHO Chanpora Syed Iqbal, Dr Javid Iqbal Khan, Chief senior councillor Drugs de-addiction Ghulam Rasool, Gazi Saleem delivered lecture on Drug de-addiction.Hundreds of youths from the valley participated in the seminar.In the seminar Mr Mohammad Ashraf bhat Vice president JKAC Kashmir, General Secretary Mohd Irfan, District President Srinagar Mr Adnan manzoor, Vice District President Srinagar Mohammad Aslam,Media and publicity secretary Mr sajid yousuf, District President Budgam Mr Shah Aadil, District President Banihal Mudasir, District President Bandipora Abdul rasheed, District President Ganderbal Mr Ghulam Rasool. The main aim of the seminar was to awear general public to look forward to fight against drug Addiction .And to appeal people and police to join hand together to fight against the drugs.
Jammu and Kashmir Against Corruption urge state government to start awareness programmes about the Effect of drugs on humans in the schools, colleges and universities.In The seminar a question was also posed to SHO Syed Iqbal and Dr Javaid Khan , That as if a Young person visits a doctor regarding the Heart problem or Sleeplessness, Then the Doctor prescribes the same drugs to that person and he becames a legal person to take Durgs and no one even enquires about the same. Another question from 5 Dariya News was that how can police be helpfull in saving the society from such case, The reply was We have to follow some procedures to arrest any Drug pedlar or any Drug addicted person . But we are always available for the help of society its our duty and have to perform it. Most important is that a child must be preserved from the begining, Its duty of every parent to teach his/her child the complete way of life that is Islam . One must follow the right path as we directed in our Religious book "QURAN".District vice presedent Srinagar Mohammad Aslam Sheikh ,Told to 5 Dariya news that we are looking forward for the same seminars in other Districts as well, So that we can inform more and more young youth regarding the worse effects of Drugs. Our motive is to make whole society away from all this stuff . We will organise more seminars in future at various Higher secondary schools of other Districts as well.
