Member Parliament (MP) Shamsher Singh Manhas today said various reformative initiatives are being taken to tackle issues like unemployment and poverty, saying that the day is not far away when people would get all sorts of facilities at their doorstep.Manhas was speaking during his visit to three-day Technology Exhibition ‘Vision Jammu and Kashmir’- 2017 at KK Resorts. The event is organized by Sansa Foundation. The MP said the country is not power deficient but there is need for improving its infrastructure to utilize the maximum resources available.Manhas visited the stalls at the Expo and viewed various projects displayed by Indian Spices Board, Power PSUs, Indian Oil Corporation, Khadi India, Central Silk Board and ISRO to enhance the general knowledge of the students, farmers and technology savvy people.

The MP also interacted with students and trainers participating in the event and urged them to take maximum benefit of this opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge.Speaking on the occasion, Manahs appreciated the efforts of the organizers for organizing such exhibitions which besides promoting countries developmental projects and sharing information and knowledge with students, farmers and technology savvy people. He added that measures are being taken for generating employment venues and talented people will be accommodated according to their abilities. Manhas also urged the students to stay away from drugs and other career spoiling activities and stressed them to share knowledge and experience of this event with fellow students and family.The MP also distributed trophies among students, trainers and other officials.
