CM dedicated projects worth Rs.38.80 crore in Balh constituency

Chief Minister  Virbhadra Singh who was in Balh constituency of district Mandi today to address the ‘Sankalp Rally’, finally blew the conch for assembly elections in 2017.The Chief Minister who was accorded a warm welcome, inaugurated and laid foundation stones of all the development projects from Kansa Ground,  near Dadour. He inaugurated additional accommodation of Government Senior Secondary School,  Gurkotha constructed with an outlay of Rs. 1.36 crore, inaugurated Lift Water Supply Scheme( LWSS) Dahanoo, Lakhwan and Hawanu completed with a cost of Rs. 1.43 crore, LWSS for habitation of census villages Ratti, Galma, Nalwari, Dhalwani, Kandi and Malther at a cost of Rs. 1.31 crore and  LWSS  for habitation of census village Pargi at a cost of Rs. 49.45 lakh. All the three schemes would benefit a population of 24 villages covering a population of around 4000.  He also inaugurated 33/11 KV Sub Station Kalkhar constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.88 crore. This would benefit 69 villages of 14 panchayats of the area with a population of 70000 and also help in improving the electricity supply and minimise transmission and distribution losses. Chief Minister also announced foundation stone laying ceremony of Combined office building Nerchowk to be constructed at a cost of  Rs. 17.80 crore, Press Club Nerchowk to be constructed jointly with the grant to be provided by government and own resources , Lassi ka Padhar Bridge, Ratti at a cost of Rs. 3.23 crore, new block of Public Health Center, level-III Didhyani to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.17 crore, new block of Govt. Senior Secondary School, Galma at a cost of Rs. 5.79 crore and office of SDO, HPSEBL at Nerchowk at a cost of Rs. 27.41 lakh.
