District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Niraj Kumar today convened a meeting to review the progress registered by various departments under Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) of 16th Lok Sabha.OSD to Dr. Jitendra Singh, MoS in Prime Minister’s Office, Ashok Kumar was also present in the meeting.During the meeting, the DDC along with the OSD reviewed the physical and financial achievements made by different departments under MPLADS. Block wise and work wise review of all the developmental works executed by Rural Development Department, Municipal Council, PWD, PDD under MPLADS was also done during the meeting.In addition to this, detailed deliberations were also held on various issues like mapping of various assets developed under MGNREGA and stress was laid on timely submission of Utilization certificates along with photographs of all the works that have been completed under MPLADS.Joint Director Planning Rakesh Jamwal, ACD Om Prakash , AEEs of various departments, Officers from Municipal Council Udhampur and MC Ramnagar besides BDOs attended the meeting.
