Shemrock School sector-69 excelled in Gurmat competition organised at Gurudwara Sahibzada Ajit Singh ji in which as many as 300 students of 27 schools participated . Subjects covered were Gurbani Kanth, Kirtan, Lectures, kavishari, Poetry, Wartalap , Quiz etc. Students of Shemrock School won 5100 rupees .Director Education S K Sharma while congratulating the students said that Such competitions aim to produce professionals who will lead an honest life with (service)sewa bhawna to revive glorious heritage of Punjab. He further added that it gives a sense of satisfaction that students are equally growing both academically & spiritually, which is the main objective of school. Principal of the school Prineet Sohal urged students to Work hard and follow the path of truth and humanity. She further the essence of every religion is to perform deeds to help and benefit other people .
