Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has termed the allegations leveled against AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal about his stay at Moga on January 28 as completely baseless and malicious. An official spokesman said here today that the owners of the house where Kejriwal had stayed are not even remotely associated with any terrorists or anti national element as being claimed by Shiromani Akali Dal and Congress. Sukhbir Badal and Captain Amarinder Singh were trying to divert the attention from key issues of drugs, illegal mining and corruption.Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) strongly condemned  the desperate and unsuccessful attempts by both Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Congress parties to defame Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and the people of Punjab.Sensing imminent defeat in the Punjab assembly polls both these traditional political parties are spreading canards to divert the attention of the people of Punjab from the real issues.
Both SAD and Congress have joined hands and are contesting jointly against AAP which has gained huge support of the people of Punjab and also those living abroad of the Punjab origin.Such malicious attempt to defame will be thoroughly answered by the people of Punjab through the power of democracy and ballot on February 4. AAP outrightly rejects all baseless allegations leveled against about the night stay at Moga. The party challenges both Akalis and the Congress to take the issue to the people’s court and should not deflect  their attention by raising such bogus and manufactured  issues.AAP said deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal is a failed home minister as well who has not been able to resolve the sacrlige issue and hence facing ire of the people of Punjab. “ Only yesterday in a pres statement he had admitted that both Congress and Akali Dal were responsible for the sacrlige in Punjab”, said AAP while adding that the same press relse was withdrawn about half an hour after realsing that Sukhbir had accidentallyhad admitted his party’s role in the sacrilege.
