In wake of recent snowfall, the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah today visited Sub-District Hospital, Bijbehara to take stock of healthcare facilities being provided to the patients.Accompanied by Xens of R&B, PMGSY, PDD, besides Tehsildar Bijbehara and other senior officers of the administration, the DC inspected various wards of the hospital and interacted with the patients and attendants. He inquired about the facilities provided in the hospital. He directed Medical Superintendent to make heating arrangements in the hospital.On the occasion, the patients demanded for ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the hospital. The DC accordingly, directed SE PDD to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the hospital so that patients not face any difficulty. He also directed Block Medical Officer, Bijbehara to project details of requirements for the hospital so that best possible healthcare facilities are made available to the hospital..The Deputy Commissioner also met various delegations at Bijbehara who apprised him about the problems being faced by them. DC assured them that district administration is proactive in sorting out all the issues and that their problems shall be addressed on priority.Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected ongoing work Trauma Hospital Bijbehara and directed the concerned executing agency to redouble their efforts for timely completion of the hospital.
