Prakash Singh Dadwal District President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) unit Kishtwar today reminded the much hyped announcement  made by BJP MoS & MLA Kishtwar Sunil Kumar Sharma during a public grievance redressal camp in June 2015, who had announced a Government Degree College and Industrial Training Institute for Padder with an assurance that students who have passed HSS Part-II will not need to suffer anymore, for this purpose suitable accommodation is being identified in the same session of 2015.“Students felt cheated as another 12th Class batch passed out but Degree College is still in announcements and nowhere on ground”Dadwal claimed. NSUI District President Prakash Singh Dadwal who had also studied in Government Higher Secondary School Atholi Padder also claimed that People of Padder belongs to economically weaker background and cannot afford educational expenses  to outside of native area, students who got enrolled in different degree colleges outside are putting up in rented accommodation per month which every students can’t afford as a result of which majority of students becomes dropouts due to non-availability of degree college in Tehsil Padder”Dadwal asked the BJPians that why they delivered ridiculous promises which played with the sentiments of public if they have not the tendency to act. “If you have delivered the promises, let it be fulfilled” he appealed the minister. He also urged the Government to sanction a degree college as well as ITI for the area so that the local students could complete their studies in their native place.
