State Convener of Aam Aadmi Party, Gurpreet Singh Waraich today said that Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal’s ‘secret recruitment’ in the Intelligence cadre of Punjab Police is nothing else but a creation of his ‘private army’ for its use in the upcoming polls.“It is highly deplorable that in the garb of recruitment in the special intelligence cadre, Sukhbir Badal is creating his private army for its misuse during poll”, Waraich said while revealing that out of 22 total youth recruited so far, 21 belong to the Sukhbir’s assembly segment of Jalalabad.“Sukhbir Badal will use this army to covert and overt operation during polls at the cost of state’s ex-chequer”, State Convener of AAP said while quipping – what happened to Punjab Police’s Intelligence Network? Is it totally collapsed?Waraich demanded immediate ban on this special force of and urged the Election Commission to take notice of it.It is pertinent to mention here that twenty-one youths from Jalalabad, the home constituency of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, were ‘secretly’ recruited in the Intelligence cadre of Punjab Police last week.“It is nothing else, but a political gimmick to extend political bribe to the people to woo them for their use during ensuing assembly polls”, AAP leader said.
