Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today said that the students need to take the help of the modern technology in order to make the education and learning process simpler and easy to grasp.The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking at a function organized in connection with the graduation ceremony of ABACUS institute here today.Legislator, Mr. Ramesh Arora, Director ABACUS Institute Mr. Arvind, academicians and people from different walks of life were present.The Deputy Chief Minister said that the modern technology has revolutionized every aspect of the life including the education and the need of the hour is to take maximum benefit from it so that the students also get benefitted.He said it has also been the endeavor of the government to introduce newer technologies in the educational sector in order to make the learning process easier for the students.

Dr. Singh said that the parents should also play their role in ensuring that the students get maximum exposure through the utilization of the new technological inventions and interventions. He said that since the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi took over he has been effectively ensuring that the technology is used in carrying out our day-to-day activities as well as education etc.While referring to the use of ABACUS, the Deputy Chief Minister said that it is an effective medium of honing the mental capacities and agility of the young students. He said that by using these techniques the students can easily solve complex mathematical problems as well as other education related activities.Later, the Deputy Chief Minister gave away prizes to the students who had excelled in various tests of the ABACUS. Vinkala Bhushan and Rabseerat Kour were declared champion of champions for the year 2016.
