Aam Admi Party today suffered another jolt as party coordinator and its strongest contender from Amloh assembly segment Mr. Roshan Sood joined Shiromani Akali Dal along with his thousands of supporters in the presence of party President and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and party candidate from Amloh Mr. Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna.National Awardee and retired as director education department, Mr. Roshan Lal Sood has a strong mass base in the Amloh assembly segment and was considered as one of the strongest contenders of AAP for assembly elections. Mr. Sood joined Shiromani Akali Dal along with his close aides Retired Lecturer Maghar Singh Salana and Master Dev Raj, who too have strong mass base in their respective areas.Describing internal corruption in AAP and pro development policies of Sukhbir Singh Badal as the main reasons of his joining Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr. Sood said, “AAP leadership is hell bent to mint money out of Punjab assembly polls. They are selling the tickets to the biggest bidders and the grass root workers are completely ignored in the party”.

Welcoming Mr. Sood in the party folds, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal promised that he would be given due respect and position in the party. “There are long bee lines of leaders and workers of opposition parties and party would accept only those people in their folds who believe in the development agenda of party. SAD-BJP led Punjab government has ushered in unparallel development in the state and no opposition party can compete on alliance’s development agenda”, said Mr. Badal.Describing Mr. Sood’s induction in SAD as another bolt in the arm of Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna said that rebel of such an honest and dedicated worker has put last nail in the coffin of Amloh wing of AAP. He said that it would not only help party in Amloh constituency but also have great jolt to AAP on all other adjoining assembly segments.
